A SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR MEN LEAVES WOMEN BURNT OUT
Do you know a single truly healthy woman over 36? (include mental/emotional/ physical)
I have spent months trying to figure out what’s been going on with my body.
As someone who is VERY connected to her health and trusts her body…. this has been one of the hardest journeys of my life for REALLY annoying run of the mill reasons…
✨doctors telling me it’s all in my head
✨ Drs not taking me seriously as a woman
✨ symptom-focused approaches that don’t trust the female body and teach dysfunction
✨Drs too busy to really listen to the extent of pain I am in
✨ the response of “well, this is motherhood”
Throughout it, I came face to face AGAIN with a medical system that told me it was in my head, and that this was just motherhood, and to basically relax and get over it.
I felt thriving in my second month of postpartum.
I touched what full health felt like on the other side, and I felt the stark difference when something changed.
So after months of searching and advocating for myself, I found the main contributing factor, and it’s a ridiculously easy fix.
So now for the good stuff. Taking my own medicine.
BURNOUT recovery…
And now that I have found the result, I can get on a protocol to get back allllll the resources burned through to get through that portal.
If you’re a woman on this planet, you’ve gone through burnout.
I don’t think this is a static thing for women.
I think it’s a living relationship.
A dragon that tries to teach us the reality of what it is to be a woman on this earth (vs. the twisted expectations of what we’ve been taught).
Protocol: STAGE 1
Eat really fucking well.
3x a day.
Sleep. Move resources around.
Ask for help. Ask for help. Ask for help.
Get labs done.
Supplement.
Follow up.
Get outside. Imperfectly. Go on a walk. Go on a run. Lie face down on a patio.
Spend some time with a friend.
Move your body.
Do something creative (meander in a bookstore. Do arts and crafts. Rough scribble in different colors in a journal, bake a random delicious cookie you’ve been craving, go on the social medias and meander the DIY world to get inspired-though ideally avoid your phone for this).
RINSE AND REPEAT.
Make a structure. Hire the people. Enroll the help in friend/family/foe/ employee. Repeat until you feel energy or creativity return.
Stay tuned for STAGE 2.
Mastering burnout doesn’t mean you never get it, it means you become fluent at recovery, adaptability, and thriving.
It used to derail me for months a decade ago.
When I burn out now, it’s only in one branch of life at a time. I see it coming. I’m ready, and recovery usually makes me money and brings me clients on the back end. But that’s for another story!

I am not sure any human is totally, mentally and physically healthy. We all try to project health and confidence especially on social media...but...there is always something. I read a study once saying that if every kind of mental condition (ADHD, Bipolar, OCD etc...) were 100% diagnosed, that 95% of the world would be deemed technically infirmed. Your points above are well taken and yes, the world remains biased against women but...we all need all the help we can get.
